Wow, I must be missing something. I love Poison but ever since Flesh & Blood I think with each release their music has gotten progressively worse. Native Tongue - Good, Crack A Smile - Average, Power to the People - Ok, Hollyweird - Horrible. The song writing has taken a nosedive. Whats up with these bands like Poison, Crue, and Dokken, who at one time wrote some of the greatest rock anthems and now try to pass off crap like "Home (Bret's Story)"

Wow...I happen to think Home (Bret's Story) is a hilarious and killer song! And I think the Hollyweird album as a whole is really very good. I would've liked a ballad or two on it, but I think it was a great cd!

I'm with ya on the quality of Poison and Crue stuff, but have you listened to the latest Dokken album??? I never was much of a Dokken fan at ALL (my best friend is a HUGE fan though, so I tolerate), but their new album is KILLER. I love it!

I also liked Hollyweird. Wasn't as good as their past stuff, but still better than, say, the latest whatever by Warrant, Slaughter, or Firehouse. P2P was good when taken without the live tracks, which were rather pointless, imo.

DOKKEN,
No, I have not heard the new one. Which cd are you referring to ? I pretty much gave up on Dokken after I bought Long Way Home which was another dissapointment. What does the newest Dokken sound like ?

The most recent Dokken, "Hell To Pay" is NOTHING like the one before it. It's classic Dokken, very 80's and very rockin'...If you like the the 80's Dokken sound, get it. You'll love it...

I love "Crack A Smile" also, probably from top to bottom my favorite from them after Look What The Cat Dragged In. Love Dokken also, but gave up on them after Dysfunctional, I guess I'll have to give "Hell To Pay" a listen
